Full-Time Football Coaching Education Programme
WHAT ESC OFFERS
Elmbridge Sports College is a Full-Time Football Coaching Education Programme that aims to develop and inspire 16-19 year olds to achieve their individual goals and take their first step in becoming Football Coaches.
This is achieved through a range of integrated programmes including a 2 Year Full Time BTEC Level3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development (academic + practical) and a bespoke Sports Industry Activity and Events Pathway Programme.
The education curriculum and qualifications are delivered by a leading approved Government education provider working in close partnership with Elmbridge Sports College’s team of UEFA qualified and experienced football coaches.
EDUCATION
Students gain a BTEC Level3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development (equivalent to 3no. A-Levels) – providing our Students with qualifications to either gain entry into University and/or pursue a career in the Sports Industry.
COACHING
Elmbridge Sports College delivers quality structured coaching through our UEFA licensed coaches. In addition, the College Programme provides opportunities to complete a FA Playmaker Course and Introduction to Coaching Football Course (cost reimbursed after completion) plus experience the many sports career pathway options that the College will introduce students to.
FOOTBALL
Students during their 2 year course will have opportunities to experience the inspiring world of football. With our associations with Premiership, Championship and EFL Pyramid Football Clubs - Students will visit professional training grounds, match days and engage with numerous football coaching and other sporting mentors - introducing the full breadth and depth of career pathways in the Sports Industry.
FACILITIES
Elmbridge Sports College Campus enjoys the best sports facilities available - with its Equality Act compliant stadium and multi-sports complex comprising 2no. 4G 11-a-side football pitches, 1no. Grass 11-a-side pitch, IT/Media equipped Multi-Function Classrooms, Cardio and Resistance Training Gyms, Physio and Medical suite alongside high quality changing environments and a College Cafe Lounge. The Campus also includes a leisure and competition pools and a full track and field athletics arena.
WORK EXPERIENCE
As part of our bespoke Sports Industry Activity and Events Pathway Programme - Student's will have the opportunity to carry out paid Work Experience across the multi-sports Campus.
This provides an introduction to the many career pathways from Coaching to general operations within a multi-sports complex.
